ABOUT US

We saw a problem in the outdoor industry and set about finding a solution

After many years working at the heart of some of our best known outdoor brands, we could see that there was a problem with the disposal of excess or damaged product. Some businesses have solutions that work, but we thought that the whole industry could benefit from a wider solution that helped more people in the broadest possible ways.

That's how Outdoor Gear For Good was born.

Who We Are

We love what we do and it shows. With decades of experience in a number of different areas, we are passionate about making a difference. We are starting slowly, learning and improving how we work.

We have gained the support of two key outdoor associations, the UK Outdoor Industry Association and the European Outdoor Group, and we are very grateful to GO Outdoors for the use of their premises.

Our team has helped us get to where we are today but we know we will need others to help us get to where we want to go in the future.

Brands & Charities

Every brand has different needs, and we listen carefully to those needs, managing what we do to those requirements.

Every charity we work with has a clear purpose and we work with a cross section of charities to ensure that we support the different aspects of the outdoor world, from environmental sustainability to helping inner city kids enjoy the great outdoors.
“At Equip Outdoor Technologies, we pride ourselves in producing quality, hard-wearing clothing and equipment designed to last, through our Rab and Lowe Alpine brands. We are delighted to support Outdoor Gear for Good in helping our products to have a long and productive life, whilst raising money for outdoor and conservation projects.”

“The European Outdoor Group represents the Outdoor Industries across Europe. Our members are dedicated to our core principles of doing business right, the conservation of nature and the promotion of outdoor participation. The Outdoor Gear for Good initiative aligns perfectly with these principles and we are pleased to sponsor it.”
